September Dharma Initiative: Go Jen Go
The GoJenGo Foundation is a non-profit institution dedicated to providing financial assistance and emotional support to individuals and families, in North and South Carolina, who are battling breast cancer. We provide aid during diagnosis, treatment and recovery. We also provide financial support to charitable organizations that offer resources and programs aimed at assisting these individuals. Additionally, the GJG Foundation promotes awareness of treatment options for individuals diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer, and provides financial assistance to organizations and medical professionals conducting research for the advancement of inflammatory breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Go Jen Go is a cause near and dear to our hearts at Y2 Yoga as one of our yogis, Jen Pagani, created the foundation during her own struggle with inflammatory breast cancer.
For nearly seven years, Jen experienced every up and down associated with a battle with breast cancer. Inflammatory breast cancer is an aggressive and relentless foe and Jen fought through over 19 different chemo regimens, multiple radiation treatments, and experimental skin treatments. She came face to face with despair, grief, anger, and pain.
In her fight against inflammatory breast cancer, Jen marveled at the amount of support she and her family were given. In the midst of financial struggles, emotional darkness, and constant health crises, she could count on friends and family to lift her up and provide strength when she felt she had none. She vowed to be that for other women, men, and their families fighting breast cancer. In that moment, the GoJenGo Foundation was born and today it thrives.
Today, the GoJenGo Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 5013 (c) organization. The foundation has raised well over $100,000 and supported women and men in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. They offer financial assistance so that survivors can focus on their fight, not worry whether they can pay rent, put gas in their car, or buy gifts for their families at Christmas.
Jen Pagani lost her battle with cancer on February 2, 2014. She left the world a foundation that carries her name, and her spirit lives through its good works.

Great studio for all levels of practice. A sanctuary from life which is student service oriented. A wealth of instructional talent provides hands on teaching and assists. Won’t find a larger and more convenient schedule anywhere. This even includes Thanksgiving and Christmas. Been to several studios and have not found the energy and great vibes that Y2 has to offer.
Y2 brings something new everytime! I have never known a gym or exercise studio that has its students thinking about the next time they can get back for a class while walking out of one all hot and sweaty. but we all do it! y2 is magnetic ! even on a day when you can find plenty of excuses to keep you from exercising, you know you will miss something special if you don’t go to class. so even in the cold rain , in dead of winter , when you barely get the kids to school in time or have time after work to turn back around to cotswold- you make it happen! inspiring! challenging! empowering! Such a welcoming staff and excellent instructors! i highly recommend Y2 because they always make room for your mat and it just feels so good !
Without hesitation, The Best Yoga Studio in Charlotte. The owner, Tanner Bazemore, brings a unique quality to Yoga that you just cannot find anywhere else. He is the most well rounded instructor I have seen, integrating training styles into his yoga practice that come from years of experience, not only with yoga, but with total strength and conditioning. You WANT to be a part of everything that is Y2Yoga! It’s a lifestyle.
I LOVE IT!
Of course it is my studio…

I love, love, love y2! I’ve worked out my whole life, lifting weights, running, spinning, etc and I have never been in better shape than I am now. I’ve actually worked in fitness starting a national corporate sales department for a very large fitness chain. I’ve been to other yoga studio, I’m from NYC (there’s one on every corner) and I promise you, y2 is by far the best!!! I joined, referred 6 other people AND I take my 4 yr old daughter every Saturday. By the way, I’m not friends with anyone there, (obviously I say hello to the staff and they know me) but no one asked me to write anything about Y2, this is the 1st review I’ve ever given promoting something because I truly believe the instructors and staff are really amazing at their job. It has changed my body and mind for the better! Keep up the great work!
