Being physically active & positive have always been at the core of Christina’s being. From the age of 5 she started playing Soccer where she learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and being part of a team. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a minor in Women’s Studies in May 2006. She coached Children’s soccer with Soccer Shots for 5 years and after having two children she took a break from the Exercise world. When my children got a little older she decided she wanted to be an example for them of what it meant to be healthy & active.
After much thought & consideration, Christina decided to get my 200RYT through Y2 in the Winter of 2016 under the guidance of Johnna Smith, Tanner Bazemore & Jennifer Decurtins.
“I currently teach Y2 Kids on Sundays at 2:30pm. Teaching Yoga to children is my life’s purpose. There is no better job in the world than to teach our youth the meaning of taking care of themselves while having fun!!”
