Dana started practicing yoga in 2012 at Y2 Yoga. In her first class she fell…a lot. She also spent a lot of time in child’s pose. But none of that mattered because after that first class, Dana felt a sense of peace that she had never known before. She has been hooked ever since, and is now committed to the amazing journey of “becoming the best version of me.”
Dana completed her 200-hour teacher training at Y2 with Tanner Bazemore and Johnna Smith in 2014. Now that she is a teacher, Dana is passionate about having her students know that falling means learning and not to be afraid of coming to their edge…because big change starts on your mat at your edge.
When Dana is not practicing or teaching, she spends her days working as a graphic designer and enjoying her two cats, being creative in the kitchen creating art and living a beautiful life that feels good.
