2022 New Year’s Resolution Blog

A Resolution is a promise that you make to yourself to start doing something good or stop doing something bad on the first day of the year: 

People make New Year’s resolutions because it offers a blank slate — an opportunity to get things right. When we set New Year’s resolutions, we are utilizing a very important concept called self-efficacy, which means that by virtue of aspiring to a goal and following through on it, I have a sense of control over what’s happening in my life

Do you make New Year’s resolutions or do you self checks throughout the year.  Regardless of which person you are, it is important to make sure you are making decisions to better yourself and reflecting on what worked and didn’t work.  Keep an open mind and continue doing things that work and start changing the things that didn’t serve you.  Yes, New Year’s is a good time to do it, but if you missed January 1st, no worries, START NOW!

What strides have you made to be a happier, healthier person?  You need to work on that before you can give to others! 

Set time for yourself and DON’T FEEL GUILTY!
