Where it all began. You will dive into the primary & second series Ashtanga Yoga Practices, & learn advanced assist techniques, philosophy, pranayama, how to teach from your experience & voice, & so much more!

Assisting/Adjusts: You will learn how to see asanas (postures) diagnostically & make anatomically safe, functionally accurate & effective adjustments. We'll explore using the asanas of the primary series & how to adjust or adapt the poses appropriately for the student. 

Teaching Voice: This section will focus on learning how to conduct a class with proper pacing, pronunciation, syncing of breath & movement, & the art of giving verbal cues based on what is observed

Yoga Philosophy: This part of the course will explore Patanjali's Yoga Sutras as the philosophical basis of the Ashtanga Yoga practice. We will explore questions like, "What is the purpose of Yoga?" & "How can we use the techniques of Pranayama, & explore sound through mantras?". 

The Kosha's:

The five coverings of your sould. To master both our inner & outer world, we study the Kosha's that make up our physical, energetic, mental/emotional, wisdom & spiritual body.

Yoga's quintessential method for betting you back to your soul are dedicated practices to unblock & liberate these coverings. 

During this workshop, you will definitely learn that you are MORE than a body, MORE than a mind, MORE than your past or the circumstances you currently find yourself in.

With asana, meditation, Yoga Nidra, & visualizations we will resolve past traumas & distorted world-views that cover our radiance. We will unravel these sheaths to connect to the life around us while also realizing our power & potential.
