In 2001 Johnna realized that in this lifetime she wanted to wake up to her true purpose: sharing yoga. Which requires a teacher. She began her lifelong studies of Para Yoga with Tantra Vidya Guru YogaRupa Rod Stryker and is a Level 1 Certified ParaYoga® Instructor. In 2016 Sri Sharath blessed her with Authorization Level 2. She is also a Certified Baptiste Teacher®.

She incorporates asana, philosophy of yoga, devotional songs and meditations, so that the deeper aspects of the yoga tradition can connect us and bring us closer together.

Becky Stewart

Becky has had a passion for the health and fitness world for as long as she can remember. After recovering from ACL surgery, a friend introduced Becky to Y2 and she was hooked. “I began going on a daily basis and found a love for yoga I had never experienced.” The heat, loud music, fast paced practice and energetic teachers drew Becky to the studio. “I began to notice a physical change but more importantly an internal shift. I was becoming calmer, more forgiving, more understanding and I really felt an urge to explore this.”

Becky completed her 200 hour teacher training at y2 in 2020 and after only her first two weekends knew she wanted to work for this studio in particular. You can be sure you’ll find an upbeat and unique playlist as Becky states she is a bit of a music junkie. Her high energy portrays in every class she teaches and you’ll find her sequencing challenging and intense.

Rian Harris

Rian Harris

Rian completed teacher training in the summer of 2010 and says the experience was amazing. He gained a deeper insight into himself and his practice, and now he gets to share more of himself not only as a student, but also as a teacher.

Rian fell in love with this practice because it always provides an opportunity to experience the biggest and brightest parts of himself. Rian teaches kids yoga, and gives group and private yoga instruction as well. Rian instructs classes that create space for you to experience your inner teacher, for you to cultivate a healthy and mindful practice, and for you to be content with where you are on your path.

"My practice is about sharing myself fully, authentically, and courageously through yoga."

Ally Busby

Once an avid distance runner, Ally Busby discovered yoga shortly after giving birth to her third child. Starting with Ashtanga yoga, practicing six times a week, she fell in love with the rigorous and demanding practice that brought so much peace and clarity to a mom of three young children.

Now a regular at Y2, you can find her in class usually upside down in an inversion or backbend or teaching a fun and challenging class for all levels.

Hank Talmadge

I started practicing yoga 4 years ago when I saw how much it was helping me recover from lifting weights. After a few years and a greater realization of the mental and physical power of the practice, I arrived at Y2 in the winter of 2019 for Teacher Training and have been taken with the studio ever since!

You’ll see me teaching a few classes at both studios and taking many classes to work on my crescent lunge and see all of my favorite teachers!!
