How often should you practice hot yoga?

YES, you can do hot yoga every day if you STAY HYDRATED!  But, you should always listen to your body especially when you first begin practicing hot yoga.

Hot yoga is a form of yoga that will elevate your yoga practice because it is performed in a hot and humid environment.  Hot Yoga has many benefits that only increase the more often you practice.  

Benefits include:  

  • Improves flexibility

  • Burns more calories

  • Builds bone density

  • Reduces stress

  • Eases depression

  • Provides a cardiovascular boost

  • Reduces blood glucose levels

  • Nourishes the skin

Of course practicing hot yoga 1x to 2x a week is good, but who wants to just be good! 😜  The bottom line is we all have goals and our own reasons for practicing hot yoga, but in order to achieve your goals, (ie strength, weight loss, flexibility, cardiovascular, mental) we need to be practicing at least 3x a week to see the benefits.   The more you practice the more you will see the benefits and the results you are looking for.  So, get on your mat and start flowing.  Flow hard but remember to give yourself some grace and take at least 1 day a week of REST.
