Summer Fun in Charlotte

May 25, 2021 Posted by Y2 Yoga Blog

Summer is right around the corner and with travel plans looking a bit different this year, we wanted to share some fun summer activities that Charlotte has to offer.  Here you go….

Enjoy an overnight at the new Grand Bohemian Hotel in Uptown Charlotte. They have a fabulous restaurant called Mico on property.

Feeling active, take a walk at Freedom Park or enjoy a day at the U.S. National Whitewater Center.  You can try stand-up paddle-boarding or flatwater kayaking with one of your friends. You can also rock climb, whitewater raft or just walk the many trails they have on property.

Have kids that need entertaining, visit Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville, Tiger World in Rockwell, Zootastic Park of Lake Norman in Troutman or the Carolina Raptor Center in Huntersville.

Need a beach fix, and some water on a hot Charlotte day,  go to The Quarry at Carrigan Farms.   Take a cool dip by jumping off the rocks or paddle board, canoe or kayak along the currents.

Looking for a beautiful escape stop by the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.Great place to browse the grounds or even set up for a day of working remotely.

Interested in local farm fresh food, go pick your own blueberries, strawberries and blackberries at Bush-N-Vine Farm

Nothing says summer more than a baseball game.  The Charlotte Knights are back in action and love fans.

Finally,  make a day of it at Camp North End and Optimist Hall. So many yummy food and drink options at both these locations.
