When Buffy was a kid, she wanted to either be The Bionic Woman or Nadia Comaneci.
Neither of those particular career goals worked out, exactly -but she has had a fun, demanding, and stunt-filled wild ride as a business owner and mom. As a recovering expert of lighting the candle at both ends, Buffy began studying yoga as a means of cultivating balance and ease in her life.Buffy has been a competitive cyclist and runner over the years, and has done every workout there is from kick-boxing to pilates. After trying yoga, she never looked back. Buffy earned her 200-HR teaching certification in Tantra Yoga, studying under Hollace Stephenson and Johnna Smith. She has also completed a mentorship program with Y2 Lead Teacher, Jen Eddins.
Not only has Buffy had years of experience teaching yoga in in studio settings, she has also served as yoga teacher for the Fort Mill High School boys’ varsity lacrosse team and the Fort Mill High School dance team.
“I get very psyched about sharing the power of yoga. I try to offer an athletic, joyful practice geared toward developing happiness, fun, and keeping your cool to balance the stress of everyday life”
You may notice that Buffy brings a high-impact, go-getter type of energy to her class and that is no different off the mat! When Buffy isn’t teaching, you can find her hard at work running her own advertising agency, Tattoo Projects – an award winning Charlotte based agency. Buffy has been named one of the Top 25 Advertising Working Mothers in the Nation by Working Mother Magazine and Advertising Women of New York.
