Useful answers for first-timers, regulars, app people, sweaty people, and anyone who refuses to read the fine print.

01 — Your First Visit

No experience?
Perfect.

You do not need flexibility, a yoga résumé, or a fancy matching set. You just need to show up.

What makes Y2 Yoga different?

Y2 is powerful, modern yoga with traditional poses, smart sequencing, music that actually has a pulse, and an atmosphere that challenges your body without taking itself too seriously. Every class is designed to build strength, focus, resilience, and a little more confidence in your own skin.

I’m new to yoga—or not flexible. Can I still come?

Absolutely. You do not need experience or flexibility to start yoga; those are things you build along the way. Our instructors offer options and guidance so you can make the class work for your body, right now.

What should I bring and wear?

Bring a mat, towel, and water bottle. A lock is optional if you plan to use the locker room. Wear comfortable clothes that let you move freely and stay put through bends, lunges, and whatever your hamstrings have to say about it. Moisture-wicking fabrics are a very good call for heated classes.

How early should I arrive?

For your first class, plan to arrive about 15 minutes early. That gives you time to check in, get oriented, settle your gear, and start without rushing through the door like you are being chased by a bear.

Which class should I take first?

You can take any Y2 class as a beginner. The better question is what will make you feel most comfortable. Choose a class that sounds like the right amount of challenge, tell your instructor it is your first time, and take options whenever you need them. If you want help choosing, use Find Your Flow.

Do you offer heated classes?

Yes. Many Y2 classes are heated to help you move deeper, build endurance, and leave feeling like you did something. Check each class description for the specific format and heat level before booking.

02 — The $39 Offer

Three weeks.
Unlimited yoga.

The straightforward answers before your brain turns a simple offer into a dissertation.

Who is eligible for the 3-week new student offer?

If you have never visited Y2 Yoga before, you are eligible. It is limited to one new-student offer per person.

When does the 3-week offer begin?

Your three weeks begin when you purchase the offer, so buy it when you are ready to start using it—not when you are merely emotionally preparing to become a yoga person.

How many classes can I take?

Unlimited classes for the full three weeks. Try different formats, different teachers, different times, and find the version of Y2 that clicks for you.

What happens if Y2 is not for me?

Take three classes. If you do not love it, we will refund your $39. If you love it and continue into a membership, we credit that $39 toward your first month.

Does the new-student offer automatically enroll me in a membership?

No. The three-week offer is a trial and does not automatically turn into an ongoing membership. You choose what happens next.

Is Y2 On Demand included with the new-student offer?

Y2 On Demand is its own separate online membership. You can explore it anytime at Y2 On Demand.

03 — Classes & Practice

Move your body.
Meet yourself there.

A little guidance for getting more comfortable in class without turning yoga into homework.

How do I book a class? Can I drop in?

Book through the Y2 website or mobile app. Drop-ins are welcome when space is available, but booking ahead is the best way to guarantee your spot and make check-in smoother.

How do I check in for class?

Whether you reserve ahead or add your name on the front-desk iPad, you must also tap the Check In box next to your name before class begins. Your name must be on the roster and checked in.

Staff cannot check you in for you. If you are not checked in, Walla may automatically mark you as a no-show and the applicable fee may be charged.

What if I’m running late?

We recommend arriving early. A short grace period may be available, but entry is not guaranteed once class has started. That protects the class experience and keeps the room from getting a surprise door-slam soundtrack.

What is the cancellation and no-show policy?

Please cancel at least 1 hour before class. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before class incur a $5 late-cancellation fee.

If you reserve a class and do not attend, a $5 no-show fee applies. Canceling on time and checking in are the two easiest ways to avoid either charge.

What if I have an injury?

Let your instructor know before class begins, listen to your body, and use modifications whenever you need them. Yoga is not a contest. If you have a significant injury or medical concern, check with your healthcare professional before practicing.

Will my heart rate go up? What are the benefits?

Depending on the class, yes—Y2 can be a real cardiovascular challenge. Consistent practice can support strength, mobility, balance, stress management, focus, energy, and better recovery. The goal is not to look impressive; it is to feel more capable in your actual life.

How often should I practice, and when am I ready for more?

Start with a pace you can repeat. Two or three classes a week is plenty for many people; consistency matters more than going nuclear on day one. As you become more comfortable with the heat, pace, and sequencing, you can explore longer or more challenging formats. Your instructor can help you decide.

04 — Membership & App

The admin
stuff.

The questions that are less glamorous than yoga, but still keep the whole machine moving.

Do you offer memberships and class packages?

Yes. Y2 offers drop-ins, class packs, and membership options. Visit Memberships to see the current choices, or ask the front desk which one fits how often you actually plan to practice.

How do I download the Y2 app?

Download the Y2 Yoga app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, then sign in using the email connected to your Y2 account. From there, you can manage bookings and keep your schedule close.

Can I buy memberships or class passes in the app?

How do I update my payment method?

Update the payment method connected to your account through the app or your online account settings. If you cannot access it, contact Y2 and we will help you get it fixed without making you battle a robot.
