Move it or lose it with Rian

by | Aug 29, 2022 | Promotions

General description: We will start out with a talk about the active vs. passive range of mobility, and get familiar with some training terminology… CARS, PAILS, RAILS, etc. From there, we will explore and build on our current capacity to move, and see how much more space, freedom, and mobility we can create on a daily basis, and whenever we land on our mats!

Day 1: If you’re looking for more shoulder mobility and a healthy range of motion, this workshop is for you! We will cover the movement of the shoulder through all its ranges: rotation(upward, and downward), flexion, extension, depression, and elevation. We will cover terminology, go through assessing your current range of mobility and then move through exercises designed to progressively increase the functionality of your shoulders.

Day 2: If you’re looking for more hip mobility and a healthy range of motion, this workshop is for you! We will cover the movement of the hips through all its ranges: rotation, flexion, and extension. We will cover terminology, assess your current level of mobility, and then move through exercises designed to progressively increase the functionality of your hips.

Sept 17-18 @ Y2 Cotswold
